The iconic super saiyan transformation, this mythical golden form is a staple of the power saiyan culture longs to recover. With an already absurd multiplier of fifty times your base power and no obvious drawbacks, it is an incredibly useful ability for those expecting to see intense combat in the future. It is suspected the purity of heart requirement is a fabrication, though it could be that this limitation only applies to the extinct purebloods.

Addendum: it has been hypothesized that the purity espoused in the legend specifically refers to a focused emotional state; i.e. the channeler embodying 'pure rage' or 'pure determination'. Given that the form has been firmly determined to be activated during periods of intense physical and emotional stress, this is currently agreed to be the most valid interpretation.
