The blue brute of the Freezer Force's elite, the fastest in the universe, rockets out of his seat. He turns around, blushing in the face of his best friend in the whole wide galaxy. Jeice sighs.

"What's wrong, mate? Ya still thinkin' about that Jockstrap Incident?"

"No… just, the inauguration of Freezer this morning! I-it surprised me, that's all!"

"… What surprised you?"

"Are you telling me it didn't surprise you?!"

Three Hours Earlier: Planet Vegeta

"Hello, monkeys!"

"L-lord Freezer…? Pray tell, where is the Great King Cold?"

The diminutive tyrant glowers down from his hoverchair, a smirk scrawled across his face. He relishes the fear his clan inspires in lesser beings! The kneeling 'king' before him has sweat streaming down his brow!

"I regret to inform ye, monkey gentlemen," he says while pointedly ignoring King Vegeta's personal question, "that my father, the King, is retiring effective immediately~. He will be taking care of more administrative matters from here on out."

"Does that mean–?!"

"I am your absolute commanding officer now, monkey," he quips. The lizard hops out of his chair, deftly landing on one foot. King Vegeta lowers his head as the rest of the saiyans gathered kneel lower. "And my oh my, we will have to make some chaaanges around here~!"

And at the back of Freezer's entourage, Burter's eyes bug out at the sight.

The Present

"Wait, that's it? You din't know Freezer had working legs?"

"W-well, when you put it like that…" Burter scratches the back of his head, blushing even harder as he laughs. "I guess that was pretty stupid of me, huh?"

"No no man, it's fine!" Jeice plops onto the bunk, scratching the back of his head. "Don't tell him I said this, but I mean, he does sit in that chair every second of every day, neh?"
